A cicada is not a milk chocolate covered flying bug as my below post may suggest. And its red eyes weren't popping out of the chocolate. The bulging red eyes, obviously, are most notable when the bug isn't chocolate covered.
The form that I saw the cicada in, was a chocolate covered bug. I don't know if anything got caught in my throat, per se, but it was certainly very scratchy and slow going down, and required liquid help.
I apologize if you were lead to believe that I was choking on a BUG!
This post is turning out to be a mess. I just wanted to say I ATE A CHOCOLATE COVERED BUG. This to me is exciting, and thus blogworthy.
There... Now I'm happy with myself... and the bug or two that I ate the other night.
